Parent Volunteer Opportunities

Ivy Academy suggests 8 hours of volunteer service for each student attending Ivy Academy. These are suggested hours, but we welcome our families and their talents to participate and contribute to our learning community. See below for current volunteer opportunities.

Parent Partnership Information Survey

  • This survey is a tool to gather parent information for use in recruiting volunteers for school events, routine tasks, and community partnership involvement for Ivy Academy. The goal is to target parent /guardian contacts effectively to make the best use of your time and your talents to make Ivy an even better school and partner in our community.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Parents to Pride Rock Sponsorship- We will be hosting an event called Parents to Pride Rock on September 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Come and experience our beautiful campus trail as we hike to a popular Ivy spot: Pride Rock. Through this event, we are hoping to build sustainable relationships among parents and staff, grow our PTO, and stay connected with all things Ivy Academy! You will need some comfortable hiking shoes and a water bottle. Please do not bring your dogs. We plan to offer this event monthly for the rest of the school year. If you or your local business would like to sponsor Parents to Pride Rock, reach out to Dean Mansueto (pmansueto@ivyacademychattanooga.com).

  • Join our Parent Advisory Team! We are looking for a few parents to volunteer 10-15 minutes monthly to give feedback to our administration team about school communication and other important issues in need of feedback. This time commitment will serve as parent volunteer hours for the school year. If you would like to join this team, please complete this form before 12/08/23. Team members will be notified on or before 12/15/2023.
