Last year, our school is adopted the Hamilton County Schools Code of Acceptable Behavior (COAB). The COAB outlines clear expectations for student conduct and supports a positive, safe learning environment for all.)

Orientation Schedule
New and returning parent orientations are primarily for parents and guardians,with the exception of seniors. Students grades 6-11 need not attend. Seniors should attend orientation with a parent/guardian. Ivy Administration will go over school year expectations and be available for a short time afterward for questions. Schedules, forms, and new uniforms will NOT be available at orientation; they will be available at in-person registration.
Middle School August 3: 6th Grade at 6:30, 7th and 8th Grades at 7:30
High School August 4: 9-11th Grade at 6:30, 12th Grade at 7:30
Registration Schedule
Friday July 31st 2026
8:30am- 9:30am: only students going into 6th-8th grade that are new to the Hamilton County School System (students coming from homeschool, private school, out of county or state)
9:30am-10:30 am: 6th grade registration for all incoming students previously in the HCDE school system
10:30am-11:30 am: 7th grade registration for returning students/students in the HCDE school system
11:30am-12:30 pm: 8th grade registration for returning students/students in the HCDE school system
Monday August 3rd 2026
8:30am- 9:00am: only students going into 9th-12th grade that are new to the Hamilton County School System (students coming from homeschool, private school, out of county or state)
9:00am- 10:00am: 9th grade registration for returning students/students in HCDE school system
10:00am- 12:00am: 10th-12th grade registration for returning students/students in HCDE school system
6th Grade Meet & Greet

Calling all incoming 6th graders! Join us for a fun and welcoming 6th Grade Meet & Greet as we prepare for the new school year!
This student-only event is a great opportunity for incoming 6th graders to get comfortable on campus before the first day of school. Students will play games, tour the middle school, meet some of their 6th grade teachers, connect with classmates, and learn about school routines and expectations- all while having fun together.
While attendance is not required, we would love to see your scholar there!
Meet in the Markum Building
Drop-off begins at 8:50 a.m.
Please Bring:
Closed-toe shoes
Water bottle
Breathable clothing
Devices may be brought, but students will be expected to keep them put away during the event from 9:00 a.m.β12:00 p.m.

Transportation: Bus Schedules
2026/2027 Bus Schedule.. Coming soon!
We will continue to use Chattanooga Bus Company, a BBB-accredited company, next school year. Buses will run very close to last years schedule. The final 2025/2026 bus schedule will be set within the first two weeks of school. Please refer to it daily for changes. Our bus routes are designed to offer an accessible stop to Ivy families living in all areas of Hamilton County; therefore, we cannot provide new stops for individual students. If you have an issue with student transportation, please contact Principal Raper: mraper@ivyacademychattanooga.com.

High School Students
High school students who would like to have a locker must send a request to:

Middle School Students
Middle school lockers will only be used to store a change of dress-code attire in case clothing becomes muddy or wet during the school day.
Lockers will be assigned near each studentβs first-period class.
Students may only access lockers with a teacherβs permission.
If a student wishes to use a lock, they must:
Provide their own lock
Submit the combination or spare key to the office
Locker Policy & Access
Ivy Academy retains full authority over student lockers.
School officials may access lockers at any time.
Any lock not registered with the school (i.e., without a known combination or key) will be removed.
