IVY SCHOOL NUTRITION PROGRAM
Breakfasts and lunches are catered to the school by Laughing Sprouts, a local catering company that specializes in using fresh ingredients in nutritious meals that students enjoy. The menu is posted monthly on the school website under the “Students” tab. Breakfast is served from 7:30-7:50 a.m. There is no need to sign up for breakfast. Lunches are served at varying times around the middle of the school day, and students eat at the same time each day. Students may bring their lunches, but fast food may not be brought in by a parent, guardian, sibling, friend, or delivery service.
Students sign up each morning in their homerooms to have lunch reserved for them. This is very important, as Laughing Sprouts brings a specific amount of lunches to the school every day, based on the homeroom lunch counts from Ivy. If a student is late to school, they should ask their school secretary to sign them up for lunch.
Breakfast is $2.50 for full-paying students and $.30 for students who qualify for reduced meals. Lunch is $4.75 for full-paying students and $.40 for students who qualify for reduced meals. Adults are $3.00 for breakfast and $5.00 for lunch. Your student can charge up to four days' worth of meals. After the fourth day, they will be given a cheese sandwich, a fruit, and milk and will only be able to charge once their balance is paid in full. It is strongly advised that your student brings at least a week’s worth of money to be put into their account. Payment can be sent to school and given to the cafeteria manager or front office, but you will also have access to our online meal payment program EZ School Apps where you will be able to make payments with a credit card and see your student’s ordering activity.
EZ School Apps- How to
Parents can use EZ School Apps to add money to their student’s lunch account, check account balances, and view meal purchase history.
To get started:
Create an account: Visit EZ School Apps and select Register if you do not already have an account.
Link your student: Follow the prompts to search for and add your student to your account.
Add funds: Select your student, choose Add Funds, and enter the amount you would like to add to their lunch account.
Check your balance: You can log in at any time to view your student’s current balance and transaction history.
Once your account is set up, you can easily manage your student’s lunch account and make payments online.
All students must complete the Free and Reduced Application each school year. Your status from last year does not roll over to this year. If there is not a completed application on file that determines a free or reduced status for your student, they will be charged the full price for meals if ordered. This form will be available at Registration.
