Scott Grisar is Curriculum and Academics Supervisor.  He has served as the principal of the middle school for five years, a portion of those years also as high school principal. 

Scott earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bryan College and a Master of Education degree and Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and completed the Principal Leadership program there.  He was the Hamilton County PTO Teacher of the Year in 2014-2015.  

A veteran educator, Scott is inspired by this quote from Nelson Mandela: "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."  He chose Ivy “because of the outdoor element, but more importantly, I love our students and staff and enjoy watching them succeed.” Scott’s environmental interests include culture and climate innovations.  

Scott enjoys serving others and participates annually in the Tennessee River Rescue and regularly works with the youth and the widows project at his church.

Scott and Amanda and their two children enjoy sports, hiking and camping.  They also love going to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios.
