Halee Guinn teaches 8th Grade Science and is an Educational Assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  She is endorsed for all subjects grades 4 - 8 and high school biology. Halee chose to specialize in education because she really wanted “to make a difference in the world by helping to shape the minds of our future.”


Halee is passionate about recycling and protecting the environment and chose Ivy Academy because of its focus on the environment, “not just preserving it, but also respecting it, exploring it and learning from it.”  She is interested in learning about all aspects of the environment and enjoys incorporating her love of chemistry and math into her studies.

She likes all kinds of animals but especially enjoys playing with her dogs, and she has a cat and guinea pig. Halee also enjoys hiking, swimming and crafting.
