Lynn Grabowski teaches many levels of Art, Citizen Science, Ag-preneur and is our campus naturalist. Lynn studied at SUNY New Paltz, Hocking College, and Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. Prior to her arrival at Ivy, she was the Education Director for Chattanooga Audubon Society at Audubon Acres and ran the TN Naturalist Program there. Other educational interests include reading, painting, and journaling nature hikes.

Lynn’s household includes her husband, three sons, a dog, two fish, two crested geckos, a box turtle, a corn snake, and a fire belly toad.  She enjoys exploring new ecosystems, traveling, fire eating, artwork, paragliding, mountains, dancing, and more. Lynn chose to be an educator in order to encourage teachers and children to get outdoors and learn in ways that motivate them, and chose Ivy, she says, “because it seemed like the best place to encourage child led learning, get outdoors, and get people excited about ecology and citizen science.”

Lynn manages the This Week in the Gorge announcements and strives to encourage everyone to take note of what’s on our trails .
