Grow Ivy Meetings
Choosing a high school is a big decision. To help make this decision easier, we are hosting Grow Ivy meetings throughout the months of July and August. At these meetings, you will learn what we are all about and whether Ivy Academy is the school of choice to suit your academic needs.
What happens at a Grow Ivy meetings?
- Students and their families will have the opportunity to meet Ivy staff. Parents can ask questions and receive information about the details of the upcoming school year. Prospective students can ask questions from veteran students.
- An application may be filled out if you haven’t already done so. Ivy staff will also conduct interviews with prospective students. These interviews are fairly informal and designed to acquaint students with Ivy Academy’s philosophy and to make sure that our school is a good fit. Students may receive acceptance letters.
- Students may take the entrance exam. This is not a pass/fail exam; we use the results to determine placement for math and to give us an idea of where a student stands academically.
- Student information forms and lunch applications may be filled out.
